The Council for the Development and Enhancement of the Family (CODE-F), a non-profit organization, in collaboration with the Trinidad and Tobago Blind Welfare Association, is hosting an online virtual concert to commemorate White Cane Day and World Sight Day and also to bring awareness to blindness and visual impairment. The Concert will be held on Sunday 1st November, 2020 via Gayelle the Caribbean, Facebook, Youtube and Tego. This concert will honour Mr. Joseph La Placeliere (Lingo) a visually impaired cultural icon, for his sterling contribution to culture and the arts. The funds will be used to offset the cost of the production of the programme and to continue the work of of organizing projects to bring awareness to and motivate the blind and visually impaired community.
