The brainchild of the deceased Joseph 'Pal Joey" Lewis, the Joey Lewis Orchestra lives on and is coming to the Up Close...and Personal virtual stage on Saturday 18 July, 2020. One of the most longstanding bands of Trinidad and Tobago, originally formed in 1954, this band has provided music for several Carnival masquerade bands, and has even toured worldwide througout the Caribbean, North America & Europe. They have provided accompaniment for calypsonians such as the Mighty Sparrow, Duke, Mighty Terror, Lord Shorty, Chalkdust and even Singing Francine.
The band also become popular for their hits Joey Saga and Bound to Dance, which is played worldwide.
