Hi everyone, my name is Alexia Mohamed. I’m currently in my 2nd year at the University of the Southern Caribbean (USC) here in Trinidad, working hard toward my dream of becoming a psychologist. I’ve always believed that mental health is just as important as physical health, and my goal is to one day create safe spaces where people feel heard, supported, and understood. The truth is, my journey hasn’t been easy. My parents are older and no longer able to work, which makes covering my tuition and educational expenses very challenging. They’ve given me everything they could, and now I want to honor their sacrifices by finishing my degree and building a better future not only for myself, but also to help others who need guidance and care. I’m reaching out with a humble heart to ask for your support in helping me stay in school and continue this path. Every contribution, no matter the size, brings me closer to achieving my dream.
