Hi, my name is Megan Gill, and my family and I are fundraising to offset hospice care expenses for my dad, Barry Gill.

My dad has been battling cancer for over 9 years. He has had multiple surgeries and hospitalizations, immunotherapy, chemo, radiation, MRI's, CT scans, PET scans and various other treatments and care. While my parents' medical insurance has covered some of the costs, there is still a lot more to be covered.

Dad enjoyed collecting Hot Wheels cars, listening to music and was an avid participant of 5k walks and runs over the years. Most of all, he loved spending time with his family and his grandson, Lucas.

He has fought hard to be here for his family everyday, but his battle is nearing the end. The cancer had metastasized and spread to the bone marrow. His body is no longer able to produce blood platelets.

At-home hospice care has now become absolutely necessary.
