Getting diagnosed with chronic kidney disease (CKD) was the most life wrecking thing that could ever happen to me , I am 28 years old. I have four boys who depends on me. Its just me and my kids no family and there father passed away

 

My kidneys is in acute failure and fading fast. A case of bad luck, why me and why now? Someone might have given up. I didn’t give up. Im trying my best to fight this.now, I’m doing everything I can to receive a kidney transplant before needing dialysis. This is known as a pre-emptive transplant, and it offers the best possible outcome- physically, emotionally, and medically. Dialysis, while lifesaving, is incredibly taxing on the body and can significantly affect quality of life. Avoiding it means a smoother recovery and a much better chance at returning to a healthy, full life. But this journey comes with a heavy financial burden. The costs are more than I can manage alone—hospital bills, testing, surgery, anti-rejection medications, travel, time off work…it all adds up quickly.
