PURPOSE
The IBDhealthyHOME project began with the intention to support persons living with inherited blood disorders (IBD) minimise recurring issues and create a better quality of life. #DailyChallenge

These are the 5 PILLARs used to achieve this:

• GiveBLOOD
• OPTIMALcare
• FAMILYintegration

Community Connector kw young, started this volunteer effort in 2014 after joining local NGO, the Society for Inherited & Severe Blood Disorders (SISBD). In 2017 realtime conversation & feedback features for users was added via ADVOCACY for LIFEforum on what'sApp. The volunteer effort attracted a small team over the years, evolved into The IBDhealthyHOME project & includes the advocacy forum.

EVENTS
Community Walks were started with the 1st one held in 2020, this is the promo page:

the FUND
This fund was started to underwrite participation in the Positive Leadership course hosted by The United Nations University for Peace (UPEACE). The Certificate course was completed in March 2021 (last year).

Next STEP
Short term goal:

• Expand the community outreach & support effort
• Activate the SELFcare model
• Implement key performance indicators (KPI)
• Initiate Rapid Testing of Sickle Cell Trait & Disease
