Two months ago, I started experiencing pain in my right foot. Thinking it was just a minor issue, I decided I could walk it off. I was fortunate to have a persistent Physiotherapist who didn't give up until I agreed to visit the gym.

My journey to a diagnosis began that morning, with a round of shock therapy, that only offered about five minutes of relief. Next, was an x-ray, but the results were inconclusive. I then had a Doppler Ultrasound done, which revealed “something” unusual. Finally, an MRI showed “suspicious” activity in a bone.

It turns out that I somehow damaged my foot without realizing the severity. This injury created a perfect environment for regular bacteria in the human body to have a house party in the area.

Now, I need a bone scan to determine if the bone is infected and, if so, to what extent. This will also determine whether the bone can be worked on and saved, or if it has to be removed. In the meantime, I've been ordered to stay completely off my foot and use crutches around the house at all times.

This unexpected situation means that I'm not allowed to work, and has brought severe financial strain. In light of this, I am now reaching out for your support. Funds raised will go towards the bone scan, any necessary treatments, and medical expenses.
