The year, 2025, has been the most trying year. It began with my dad being diagnosed with stage 4 pancreatic cancer in late January and leaving this world in early February. My dad has been ill for some years. In 2012, he had renal failure, which lead to me giving him one of my kidneys. Then there were other illnesses until his passing in February. Through it all, I managed to take care of him and balance my life. While he was ill in 2024, I noticed that I was tired and losing weight, but I thought it was due to the hectic lifestyle. After my dad's death, I continued to be exhausted and kept on losing weight. June 2025, I decided to get some tests done. The results showed that there were some abnormalities, so an ultrasound was required. On July 8th 2025, I felt my world crashing. I was diagnosed with stage 4 colon cancer which had already spread to both ovaries, right lobe of the liver and adrenaline gland. I can't explain how I felt over the next couple days. I am now on chemo and have one kidney, which is risky. I went from having a normal life, working, enjoying life with my 10 year old daughter, being active to being told you are on palliative care and have to do chemo for as long as you want to. The latest CT scan done in December 2025 showed that the chemo being used is only working on the tumors on the liver. The masses on both ovaries has increased in size, therefore causing more pain and discomfort  and the walls of the colon is thicker and showing some inflammation.  More sessions of chemo was decided and the possibility of surgery somewhere 8n future. Chemo is taking a toll on my body. Life has changed drastically. I lost a lot of weight, feel tired all the time, my blood count and white blood cells are low all the time. I am not able to work and was hospitalized quite a few times. Trying to fight, for my daughter, for my family, for me. Any assistance will be greatly appreciated
