On February 9th, Anthony Hopkins age 21, found himself in a distressing situation when he was confronted and physically assaulted by an off-duty police officer at his workplace. Despite being the victim of this unprovoked attack, Anthony was forced to defend himself. Tragically, during the altercation, the officer lost his life due to an unfortunate sequence of events involving his own weapon. It is important to note that video evidence clearly indicates that the officer was not only under the influence of alcohol but also initiated the confrontation while armed. In light of these circumstances, we, the family of Anthony Hopkins, fervently seek justice to be served, ensuring a fair assessment of the incident and recognition of Anthony's right to self-defense in the face of imminent danger.
