The Mighty and Legendary Chalkdust, is coming to The ICONS on Saturday 7th November 2020 from 7pm!! This human in calypso legend form will take the stage of The ICONS, another of WACK's virtual concert series for 2020, in which is featured the stalwarts and teachers of the calypso artform.
A nine-time calypso monarch, Chalkdust was also awarded the highest national award - the Order of the Republic of Trinidad and Tobago in 2019. As a teacher for over 35 years , Chalkdust has recorded over 300 calypsoes with prolific lyrics which have earned him major accolades as a calypsonian.
