Every day I wake up worried about how I will take care of my family. I live in a very small wooden board house with my children and other family members. There are five of us living in this tiny home, and the roof leaks badly whenever it rains. I work hard, but I only earn about $2400 every fortnight. Most of that money goes toward food, bills, and transportation. After that, there is very little left. It hurts me because I want to give my children the things they need to succeed in school. My children are trying their best with their education, but school books, supplies, and uniforms cost money that we often struggle to afford. I want them to have a better future, one where they do not have to worry about leaking roofs or going without the things they need.
