My name is Gary Hazel, and today I am humbly asking for your help to save my family.

This has been the hardest period of my life. Earlier this month, my family and I were evicted. One day we had a place to call home — the next day we were out on the streets with nowhere to go. As a father, there is no greater pain than watching your children suffer and being powerless to protect them.

After we were put out, the weight of everything crushed me.
I was tired… broken… and I reached a point where I felt like giving up on life altogether.
But God sent family members to pull me back. They reminded me that my children still need me — that I still have purpose.

My dad passed away and left a small piece of land for his children. I know it isn’t much, but it is the only hope I have left. All I want is to build a simple board and galvanized structure on that land, just enough to bring my family back together under one roof. A place where my kids can sleep safely, eat a warm meal, and know that their father fought for them.

I am not asking for luxury.
I am not asking for comfort.
I am simply asking for a chance to give my family basic shelter again.

People already doubt me. I know how society thinks — but this is not a scam. This is a father crying out because he cannot bear to see his family scattered and hurting. My relatives are trying, but times are hard, and they cannot afford to house an entire family. Some help in small ways, but it is not enough to rebuild a home.

Tonight, when I lay my head down, I pray:
“Lord, please send someone with compassion. Someone who understands what it means to struggle. Someone who will help us stand again.”

Your donation — no matter how small — will help me buy boards, galvanize, nails, and basic materials. It will help rebuild not just a shelter, but hope.
It will bring my children home.
