Hi everyone,

My name is Celine, 31 years of age. I'm sharing something deeply personal because I need help, and I hope you'll take a moment to read my story.

I have been diagnosed with Stage 4 endometriosis, the most severe form of this disease. Endometriosis occurs when tissue similar to the lining of the uterus grows outside the uterus, causing inflammation, scar tissue, and organs to stick together. It is a chronic, progressive disease that can cause debilitating pain and significantly affect a person's quality of life.

In my case, I also have what's known as "kissing ovaries." This happens when severe scar tissue and adhesions pull the ovaries together behind the uterus until they are touching. It's a sign of advanced endometriosis and often indicates extensive disease throughout the pelvis. This can cause severe pelvic pain, painful periods, pain during everyday activities, bowel and bladder symptoms, and can also impact fertility.

Living with this disease means more than just "bad periods." It means living with chronic pain, exhaustion, inflammation, and the uncertainty of not knowing how I'll feel from one day to the next. Simple things that many people take for granted—working, exercising, spending time with family and friends, or even getting out of bed—can become overwhelming.

After exhausting conservative treatments, my doctors have recommended specialized surgery to remove the endometriosis and adhesions. This procedure offers the best chance to reduce my pain, preserve my organs, and improve my quality of life. Unfortunately, this type of surgery is expensive, and the costs of the procedure, hospital care, medications, and recovery are beyond what I can manage on my own.

Asking for help is incredibly difficult, but I'm choosing hope. I'm creating this fundraiser so I can access the care I urgently need and begin the journey toward healing.
