I'm trying to raise TT$20,000 toward purchasing a reliable used car so I can get to and from work and continue helping my sister get to and from her job.
I previously had a work-to-own vehicle, but unfortunately, things did not work out with that arrangement and I returned the vehicle. I am currently trying to recover TT$8,800 that I am still owed from that situation, but I have not received the money back as expected.
That has left me in a difficult position. I need transportation for work, but the money I had put toward the vehicle is tied up in this unresolved situation. Rather than allowing that to stop me from moving forward, I'm trying to find another way to get the transportation I need.
I'm not looking for a luxury vehicle. I simply want a reliable used car that I can depend on every day—to get myself to work, help my sister get to hers, and take care of our everyday responsibilities.
I'm working and doing my best to save, but reaching TT$20,000 on my own is going to take time that I unfortunately don't have. So I'm taking a chance and asking for help from people I may not even know.
