My name is Sherien , and I’m reaching out with a heavy heart to ask for help for my family.
My two nephews recently lost their father to gun violence. No family should ever have to experience the pain of losing a loved one in such a sudden and tragic way. Their lives changed in an instant, and as their aunt, I feel a responsibility to do everything I can to make sure they have love, stability, and a safe place to call home.

I have been working on building a house for my two nephews and me. As you can see from the pictures, the house is not finished. There is still so much work that needs to be done—windows, doors, flooring, electrical and plumbing work, finishing the walls, bathrooms, and other necessities to make the house safe and livable.

I have done everything I can with the resources I have, but I can no longer do this alone.

My biggest wish is to finish this home before Christmas.

I want my nephews to have somewhere they can feel safe and protected—a place where we can begin healing as a family and create new memories together despite the heartbreaking loss we have experienced.

Every donation, no matter how small, will bring us one step closer to making this dream a reality. If you aren't able to donate, sharing this fundraiser with your friends, family, and community would mean just as much to us.

I never imagined I would have to ask strangers for help, but sometimes life puts us in situations where we have to reach out and allow others to help carry our burden.

I am not asking for a luxury home. I am asking for a safe home for two children who have already lost so much.

Please help me give my nephews something their father would have wanted for them: a safe place to sleep, a roof over their heads, and a home filled with love.
