Because of this, my long-term goal is to secure remote work so I can earn my own living safely while managing my health and pursuing higher education. My most urgent goal right now, however, is physical safety. I need to build a small, secure, independent space as quickly as possible. I also cannot leave my two young puppies behind to face harm in this home—they are my responsibility, and I need to keep them safe too. Building a modest, enclosed shelter and fenced perimeter on family land away from the main house is my fastest route to immediate safety, privacy, and peace of mind.
