Support Jael Jessop - 1st Place Nationals Junior Champion 2026.
Jael Jessop (17 years old) has been riding competitively since 2018 and has consistently placed in the top riders in local competitions. His achievements include becoming the 2026 National Junior Champion and placing 2nd at the Chag Attack Race - finishing just behind Canadian professional rider Mark Matthews. These accomplishments reflect Jael's remarkable talent, discipline and determination.
Just before the Mountain Bike May Madness race in Arnos Vale, Tobago, Jael experienced a major setback when his bike broke beyond repair during training. As a result, he was unable to participate in the VH mountain bike challenge which understandably affected his morale.
Thankfully, through the kindness of an individual who loaned him a bike, Jael was still able to compete in Tobago - and despite not riding his own bike, he placed 3rd overall.
This achievement speaks volumes about his dedication and natural ability.
Jael has already proven his talent and commitment. What he now needs is the proper support and equipment to continue developing and reaching his full potential.
Jael is being raised by his mother who has done everything possible in her power to support his passion. However, the cost of a proper mountain bike and essential gear is beyond what she can handle on her own. She needs our help!
Why supporting youth in sports matters?
Investing in young athletes like Jael helps to:
1. Build discipline, focus and resilience
2. Keep youth engaged in positive, healthy activities
3. Develop confidence and self-worth
4. Create opportunities for scholarships and national representation
5. Promote physical and mental well - being
6. Inspire others within the community
Our Goal
We are aiming to raise approximately $26,000.00 TTD to cover the cost of a proper second-hand bike and essential gear.
Every contribution - no matter how small - will make a difference!
Jeal has already shown what he can do - placing 3rd on a borrowed bike. Imagine what he can achieve with his own? Let’s come together to help keep this talent alive.
