Help Carol Fight Stage 4 Breast Cancer and Access the Treatment She Needs. “Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen.” — Hebrews 11:1, KJV My name is Carol. I am a 61-year-old educator, counselor, and woman of faith from Trinidad and Tobago. I have dedicated myself to caring for children and serving through ministry. In 2017, at age 53, I was diagnosed with breast cancer. I underwent a mastectomy, chemotherapy, and radiation between 2017 and 2018. By God’s grace, I came through that difficult season. In March 2026, I suffered a stroke. During the investigations that followed, doctors discovered that my breast cancer had returned. I am now facing Stage 4 breast cancer. After approximately three months of hormone therapy, my latest scans show that the masses in my chest and lungs have continued to grow. My doctors are recommending a different treatment, which I must pay for out of pocket. I am raising TT$50,000 to help cover: * A PET/CT scan in the United States to assess my condition and help guide treatment decisions. * New cancer medication, consultations, and necessary tests. * Airfare, accommodation, transportation, and related medical expenses.
