Every single day in Trinidad and Tobago, abandoned, abused, injured, and starving animals are left to suffer alone on the streets.

Some are dumped like garbage.
Some are hit by cars and left in pain.
Some are starving so badly you can see every bone in their body.
Some are puppies born into suffering with no chance at survival.

And for many of them, Furry Lives Matter is their only hope.

We are a small independent rescue fighting every day to save as many lives as possible through rescue, feeding, emergency medical care, rehabilitation, fostering, and adoption.

But rescue is not easy.

It is heartbreaking.
It is exhausting.
It is emotionally draining.
And it is incredibly expensive.

Yet we keep going because these animals deserve love, safety, and a chance to live.

Cintra Ramoutar personally cooks and feeds over 100 dogs every single day across multiple areas. She cleans alone, medicates sick and injured animals, handles emergency rescues, and rushes critical cases to the vet — no matter the time, weather, cost, or exhaustion.

For many of these animals, she is the reason they are still alive today.

Over the years, thousands of animals have been rescued, treated, fed, and given a second chance because someone chose to care.

But we cannot do this alone.
