Help Me Rebuild My Life and Create a Better Future

My name is David Archibald, and I created this campaign with the hope of pursuing a dream I've held onto for many years: building my own dropshipping business and creating a more stable future for myself and my family.

Back in 2021, during the pandemic, my life changed unexpectedly. While working as a handyman, I suffered a serious accident and fractured my femur. Because of the severity of the injury, I lost my mobility for a period of time and suddenly found myself facing challenges I had never experienced before.

At the time, I had very little knowledge of legal matters, insurance procedures, or how to navigate the system after a life-changing injury. I had no one to help transport me to the National Insurance Board, guide me through the process, or explain what steps I needed to take. Everything was unfamiliar, overwhelming, and difficult to manage while trying to recover physically and emotionally.

I have since been able to obtain legal assistance, and my matter is currently under review. However, as many people know, these processes can take years to resolve, especially when representation is obtained later in the process. In the meantime, life has continued moving forward, and so have the responsibilities that come with it.

Throughout this journey, my mother has been my greatest source of strength and support. She has her own health struggles, including complications from previous spinal surgery and visual impairment. Despite these challenges, she has done everything she can to care for me during one of the most difficult periods of my life.

Unfortunately, the burden of supporting our household, combined with medical issues and limited resources, has placed an enormous strain on our finances. Other family members who might have been able to help were either dealing with their own hardships or sadly passed away during this period.

Although I have physically healed from my injury, I have not been able to return to work in the same capacity as before. I've spent years searching for opportunities, applying for jobs online and within my community, but have received little to no response. Many available jobs are physically demanding, while others have slowed due to economic conditions.

My mother, who was declared medically unfit before me in 2017, has exhausted much of her financial resources trying to keep us afloat. At the same time, we're trying to meet basic needs such as rent, food, clothing, and other everyday essentials.

Despite these setbacks, I haven't given up on my dream.

For years, I've wanted to build an online business because it represents more than just a source of income—it represents independence, stability, and an opportunity to create a better future for both my mother and myself.

I am seeking assistance to help launch this business so that I can pursue a path that works within my current limitations, regain financial independence, and provide support for the person who has supported me through everything.

My goal is to raise TTD $70,000 to cover startup expenses, establish the business properly, and provide enough runway to test the market through advertising and customer acquisition while building a sustainable foundation.
