Here I am with my sister Kirsten, in Dominica in the late 60s. Still being the loving and protective older sister, I decided to create this campaign to try and raise money to cover some of the costs of her medical expenses to give her the best chance of recovery. In July of 2022, Kirsten was diagnosed with kidney failure. Due to dire complications including fluid in her lungs and an enlarged heart, Kirsten has had to exit the public health care system to ensure she gets the level of care she needs until she stabilizes. The cost of private care has been incredibly expensive, and I am launching this fundraiser in the hope that I can raise enough money for her to get the necessary treatment she needs. Her kidneys are functioning at 10% and her survival depends on specialized care over the next few months. Please help me to help Kirsten. Thank you for reading, donating or even just sharing.
