A year ago, I met someone whose passion for football completely inspired me. From the way he talks about the game to the way he lights up watching or playing, I quickly realized this isn’t just a hobby for him.It's a huge part of who he is. Life had other plans, and over time an ACL knee injury slowly began taking away the freedom and movement he once had. What started as discomfort has become something that now affects his daily life, his work, and the things he loves most. He works hard every day, including long hours driving, despite the pain he deals with quietly. Watching someone you care about push through physical discomfort every day is heartbreaking, especially knowing there is a solution that could give him a real chance at recovery. He has always dreamed of playing internationally one day, and while life may have delayed some of those dreams, I still believe he deserves the opportunity to move freely again, return to the sport he loves, and simply enjoy life without constant pain — whether that means getting back onto a field or one day running around with his future children. The surgery needed to repair his ACL, along with rehabilitation and recovery, comes with significant costs, and that’s why I’m reaching out for help.
